Another year has come around again for the Maxxis TKM Festival. It will be at Kimbolton, and I will be competing there this year, 12th-14th August 2016. I will be going to KartMaina14 at the Silverstone Wing at Silverstone race circuit and looking at the 2015 kit from all the companies in the karting world.

A day with not much drivers in much in the Junior TKM Class proved to be even close racing, with amazing results. I had a great with a 8th,15th,14th and 10th from the day. After the festival it showed who still had the pace and others didn’t quite have it their way. I felt the boost before weekend help and the Saturday practice did as well. I would like to thank Aaron for the Sunday and my mum and my brother, who came to watch for the whole day. I will be next out on 12th October for the Sunday racing only. I was hitting low 44’s all weekend which was good.

From blazing sunshine to gloomy thunderstorms. This year’s Maxxis TKM Festival threw surprises’ all weekend long. On Saturday I set my personal best at Kimbolton with a 43.6s and according to my best sectors from that race I could have done a 43.3s and I was about half a second off the Super One National Drivers. Sunday was thunderstorms and heavy rain, by about 2.45pm the storm and rain eased off and the finals were underway. The MAXXIS TKM Festival 2014 will be taking place at HKRC Kimbolton, on the outskirts of Huntington. The TKM Festival is a one-off national event, that is 3 days long. Friday: Testing open to the TKM Festival drivers to set-up for the big weekend ahead. Saturday: Timed Qualify and Heats. Sunday: Heat, Pre-Finals, Grand Finals. The Grand Finals for each class will be televised on Motors TV and will be on Motors TV on 1st September at 7pm. The sponsors for the TKM Festival are; MAXXIS, TAL-KO and TKM. TAG HEUER live timing will be live on Saturday and Sunday. I am racing in Junior TKM Class. This year at the Maxxis TKM Festival I will want to improve my results from last year’s TKM Festival...
