The 2014 Maxxis TKM Festival is ready to go! I am karting for the three-day weekend at Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire. Maxxis TKM Festival is a one-off national event, which means it will be very busy. In the weekend’s total entry of all of drivers from each there is 128 drivers in total from the three separate classes. In my class, Junior TKM has an entry of 50 drivers, that is 18 less than last year which means it will be tight on Sunday’s classification to see who goes through to the elite final and who will compete in the Festival Cup Final. Before I moved up to Junior TKM, I was in the Comer Cadet Class ageing between 8-13 years old. Featuring a 60cc  2-stroke engine.

The MAXXIS TKM Festival 2014 will be taking place at HKRC Kimbolton, on the outskirts of Huntington. The TKM Festival is a one-off national event, that is 3 days long. Friday: Testing open to the TKM Festival drivers to set-up for the big weekend ahead. Saturday: Timed Qualify and Heats. Sunday: Heat, Pre-Finals, Grand Finals. The Grand Finals for each class will be televised on Motors TV and will be on Motors TV on 1st September at 7pm. The sponsors for the TKM Festival are; MAXXIS, TAL-KO and TKM. TAG HEUER live timing will be live on Saturday and Sunday. I am racing in Junior TKM Class. This year at the Maxxis TKM Festival I will want to improve my results from last year’s TKM Festival...

Last sunday, at the July race meeting went to be very poor day at Kimbolton. I would like to thank Dan and Aaron for the day as it was a very stressful day. The results on line now. The next time I will be out again, Karting is the Friday 8th-Sunday 10th August for the MAXXIS TKM Festival with fun-packed weekend for both drivers and supporters. For the whole weekend I will be running as a privateer as usually, many of the Formula TKM Caterogy drivers will be there. The June race weekend meeting went better than I excepted. I would like to thank you, Aaron for helping me and my dad on both, Saturday and Sunday. The results should be up on the website as soon as possible. I am next karting on Sunday 13th July. Here are some of the highlights of the weekend. On Saturday the weather was playing up with the wet and damp. After at about 1pm the track dried out and the Sun came out. On Sunday, the weather was dry and sunny all day.
